In Friday's non-league game, the Monsignor Farrell Lions (Staten Island, NY) football team triumphed over the visiting St. Peter's Eagles (Staten Island, NY), by a tally of 48-13.

In their next game, the Lions battle the St. Anthony's Friars (Melville, NY) in a Catholic AAA outing, on Friday, September 26. Monsignor Farrell will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Friars come into the outing with a 2-2 record after their 48-20 non-league win over Kellenberg Memorial (Uniondale, NY).
