The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Mt. Carmel Golden Aces (Mt. Carmel, IL) and the host Newton Eagles (Newton, IL), witnessed Mt. Carmel's football squad topple Newton by a count of 32-7.

The Golden Aces (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Paris (Paris, IL). The Tigers enter the Little Illini contest with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Paris overcame Lawrenceville (Lawrenceville, IL), 48-7, in a league battle.
