In Friday's non-league match, the visiting West Point Dragons football squad scored a close 28-22 triumph over the North Mustangs.

The Dragons (1-3) will now prepare for their match against Ironwood (Glendale, AZ). The Eagles come into the non-league match with a 0-4 record. In their last match, Ironwood was nudged by Kellis (Glendale, AZ), 47-35, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Mustangs confront the Goldwater Bulldogs (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 26. North will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Bulldogs come into the match with a 2-2 record after their 35-12 non-league loss to Campo Verde (Gilbert, AZ).
