North Carolina High School Football - Scotland falls to Pinecrest

The Pinecrest Patriots ran past the visiting Scotland Fighting Scots football squad by a count of 36-21 in Friday's non-league test.

The Patriots now hold a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jack Britt for a Mid-South 7A/8A test on Friday, October 3. Pinecrest will meet a Buccaneers squad coming off a 36-28 non-league loss to Seventy-First (Fayetteville, NC). The Buccaneers record now stands at 3-2.

With the defeat, Scotland drops to 3-2 on the campaign. The Fighting scots travel to Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC) to meet the Bears in a Tri-County 6A/7A test on Friday, October 3. The Bears go into the challenge with a record of 3-2. Gray's Creek lost 27-24 in their recent non-league challenge against E.E. Smith (Fayetteville, NC)
