September 19, 2025: Grand Forks, ND 58201 Red River Roughriders (Grand Forks, ND) boosters were content Friday as they observed their football squad smash the visiting Williston Coyotes (Williston, ND), 49-12 in a non-league match.
The Roughriders (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Kindred (Kindred, ND). The Vikings come into the AA - East match with a 4-0 record. In their last match, Kindred routed Jamestown (Jamestown, ND), 49-6, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Coyotes play the Legacy (Bismarck, ND) in a AAA - West challenge, on Friday, September 26. Williston will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The go into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 14-13 non-league loss to Horace (Horace, ND).
