The Whitewater Wildcats (Fayetteville, GA) football tipped the visiting Upson-Lee Knights (Thomaston, GA), 37-36 in Friday's league outing.

In their next game, the Wildcats face the Trinity Christian Lions (Sharpsburg, GA) in a AAA Region 2 game, on Friday, September 26. Whitewater will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Lions enter the game with a 2-3 record after their 43-10 league loss to Sandy Creek (Tyrone, GA).

The Knights (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Mary Persons (Forsyth, GA). The Bulldogs enter the AAA Region 2 game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, Mary Persons was edged by Troup County (LaGrange, GA), 49-35, in a league game.
