In Friday's non-league game, the St. Francis Spartans (Wheaton, IL) flag football team edged the visiting Marist RedHawks (Chicago, IL), by a tally of 13-6.

In their next game, the Spartans battle the Glenbard West Hilltoppers (Glen Ellyn, IL) in a non-league game, on Monday, September 22. St. Francis will attempt to better on its 11-6 season record.
