California High School Football - Downey tops Edison

September 19, 2025: Stockton, CA 95206

The Downey Knights football squad scored 36 points and limited the host Edison Vikings to 14 in the Knights non-league triumph on Friday.

The Knights now hold a 5-0 record. They play next when they host Gregori for a challenge on Friday, October 3. Downey will face a Jaguars team coming off a 8-8 non-league Los Banos (Los Banos, CA). The Jaguars record now stands at 2-2.

The Vikings (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Armijo (Fairfield, CA). The Royals come into the non-league test with a 0-4 record.
