New York High School Soccer - Avon knocks off Mount Morris
September 19, 2025: Avon, NY 14414 In Friday's non-league outing, the host Avon Braves soccer squad scored a tight 4-0 win over the Mount Morris Blue Devils.
The Braves (3-3) will now prepare for their outing against Mynderse Academy (Seneca Falls, NY). The Blue Devils enter the non-league outing with a 6-0 record. In their last outing, Mynderse Academy tipped Geneva (Geneva, NY), 5-4, in a league outing.
Next up, the Blue Devils confront the Perry Yellowjackets (Perry, NY) in a Livingston - Division III outing, on Saturday, September 20. Mount Morris will attempt to move on its 1-8 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the test with a 1-4 record after their 2-1 league loss to Keshequa (Nunda, NY).
