Vermont High School Soccer - Green Mountain knocks off Otter Valley
September 19, 2025: Chester, VT 05143 In Friday's non-league outing, the host Green Mountain Grizzlies soccer squad scored a tight 5-1 victory over the Otter Valley Otters.
The Grizzlies (2-5) will now prepare for their outing against Leland & Gray (Townshend, VT). The Rebels go into the non-league outing with a 2-3 record. In their last outing, Leland & Gray got by Rivendell Academy (Orford, NH), 5-1, in a non-league test.
The Otters now have a 0-7 record. They take the field next when they host West Rutland for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 24. Otter Valley will clash with a Golden Horde team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Proctor (Proctor, VT). The Golden Horde record now stands at 5-3.
