Illinois High School Soccer - Kennedy knocks off Riverside-Brookfield
September 19, 2025: Riverside, IL 60546 The Kennedy Crusaders soccer squad scored 4 points and held the host Riverside-Brookfield Bulldogs to 1 in the Crusaders non-league victory on Friday.
The Crusaders now hold a 7-1 record. They play next when they host Oak Lawn for a non-league bout on Monday, September 22. Kennedy will face a Spartans team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Lemont (Lemont, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 7-2.
The Bulldogs (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Glenbard East (Lombard, IL). The Rams enter the Upstate Eight - East contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Glenbard East St. Charles North (St. Charles, IL), 2-2, in a non-league challenge.
