Minnesota High School Volleyball - Albany tips Rush City

In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Albany Huskies volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Rush City Tigers.

The Huskies (16-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Watertown-Mayer (Watertown, MN). The Royals go into the non-league test with a 4-6 record. In their last test, Watertown-Mayer nudged Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted (Howard Lake, MN), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Tigers now sport a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Crosby-Ironton for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 23. Rush City will face a Rangers squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia] (Isle, MN). The Rangers record now stands at 9-2.
