Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Northwest Christian Crusaders (Phoenix, AZ) and the host Buckeye Hawks (Buckeye, AZ), observed Northwest Christian's volleyball team hold off Buckeye by a tally of 2-1.

The Crusaders (13-4) will now prepare for their contest against Mica Mountain (Tucson, AZ). The Thunderbolts enter the non-league contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, Mica Mountain got by Tucson High Magnet School (Tucson, AZ), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Hawks meet the Kellis Cougars (Glendale, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 23. Buckeye will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Browne (Phoenix, AZ).
