The Carlisle Chiefs volleyball team (Axton, VA), was beaten 3-0 in Friday's league challenge with the host New Covenant Gryphons (Lynchburg, VA)

The Gryphons (10-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Westover Christian Academy (Danville, VA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league challenge with a 9-6 record. In their last challenge, Westover Christian Academy beat Timberlake Christian (Forest, VA), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Chiefs face the Summit (Winston-Salem, NC) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, September 24. Carlisle will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record.
