Illinois High School Volleyball - Cary-Grove can't hold off Fremd
September 19, 2025: Cary, IL 60013 In Friday's non-league bout, the Fremd Vikings (Palatine, IL) volleyball team held off the host Cary-Grove Trojans (Cary, IL), by a margin of 2-1.
The Vikings now possess a 16-4 record. They play next when they travel to Lake Park for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 20. Fremd will clash with a Lancers team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Batavia (Batavia, IL). The Lancers record now stands at 4-7.
With the loss, Cary-Grove drops to 3-14 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Oswego (Oswego, IL) to battle the Panthers in a non-league match on Friday, September 19. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 6-2. Oswego won 2-1 in their recent league match against Plainfield Central (Plainfield, IL)
