Texas High School Volleyball - Grace Christian Academy bounced by HCYA
September 19, 2025: Houston, TX HCYA (Houston, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Grace Christian Academy Eagles (Houston, TX), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, HCYA improves its record to 23-6 on the season. The travel to St. Agnes Academy (Houston, TX) to meet the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 23. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 4-10. St. Agnes Academy lost 3-1 in their recent non-league challenge against St. John's (Houston, TX)
Next, the Eagles meet the Angleton Christian Warriors (Angleton, TX) in a TAPPS 1A District 8 challenge, on Thursday, September 25. Grace Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 9-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Divine Savior Academy - Sienna (Missouri City, TX).
