Maine High School Volleyball - York over Wells
September 19, 2025: York, ME 03909 Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the York Wildcats (York, ME) and the visiting Wells Warriors (Wells, ME), observed York's volleyball team top Wells by a count of 3-0.
The Wildcats (6-0) will now prepare for their contest against Messalonskee (Oakland, ME). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Messalonskee was beaten by Gardiner (Gardiner, ME), 3-2, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Warriors meet the Yarmouth Clippers (Yarmouth, ME) in a Class B contest, on Tuesday, September 23. Wells will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Clippers enter the test with a 2-4 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Washington Academy (East Machias, ME).
