September 2, 2021: Los Angeles, CA 90064 El Segundo Eagles (El Segundo, CA) backers left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Notre Dame Academy Regal Gryphons (Los Angeles, CA), 3-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Eagles battle the South Spartans (Torrance, CA) in a Pioneer match, on Wednesday, September 8. El Segundo will attempt to better on its 5-1 season record. The Spartans come into the match with a 7-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Bellflower (Bellflower, CA).
With the loss, Notre Dame Academy drops to 5-5 on the campaign. The Regal gryphons host Oxnard (Oxnard, CA) to battle the Yellowjackets in a non-league match on Tuesday, September 7.
