Parkland Matadors (El Paso, TX) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Austin Panthers (El Paso, TX), 9-7 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Parkland improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Matadors travel to Burges (El Paso, TX) to battle the Mustangs in a non-league test on Friday, September 9. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 0-2. Burges lost 54-13 in their recent non-league test against Riverside (El Paso, TX)
