The Whitesboro Bearcats held off the visiting Bells Panthers football team by a count of 31-27 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Whitesboro upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Bearcats travel to Pottsboro (Pottsboro, TX) to encounter the Cardinals in a non-league outing on Friday, September 9. The Cardinals go into the outing with a record of 2-0. Pottsboro won 55-36 in their recent non-league outing against Callisburg (Gainesville, TX)

With the loss, Bells moves to 1-1 on the season. The Panthers host Chisum (Paris, TX) to encounter the Mustangs in a non-league outing on Friday, September 9. The Mustangs go into the outing with a record of 1-1. Chisum won 34-28 in their recent non-league outing against Wolfe City (Wolfe City, TX)
