September 2, 2022: Ashland, KY 41102 The Lewis County Lions football team (Vanceburg, KY), was ripped 42-6 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Boyd County Lions (Ashland, KY)
The Lions (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Greenup County (Greenup, KY). The Musketeers come into the non-league challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Greenup County trounced Lawrence County (Louisa, KY), 17-14, in a non-league challenge.
The Lions now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bath County for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 16. Lewis County will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 36-20 non-league loss to Powell County (Stanton, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-2.
