September 2, 2022: Huntingtown, MD 20639 Huntingtown Hurricanes (Huntingtown, MD) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Calvert Cavaliers (Prince Frederick, MD), 13-12 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Huntingtown improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Hurricanes travel to Leonardtown (Leonardtown, MD) to confront the Raiders in a Southern Maryland - Chesapeake test on Friday, September 9. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 1-0. Leonardtown won 40-0 in their recent non-league test against McDonough (Pomfret, MD)
With the loss, Calvert drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to La Plata (La Plata, MD) to confront the Warriors in a Southern Maryland - Potomac test on Friday, September 9. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 1-1. La Plata lost 34-0 in their recent non-league test against Great Mills (Great Mills, MD)
