Centennial Spartans (Burleson, TX) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Frisco Raccoons (Frisco, TX), 35-14 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Centennial improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Saginaw (Saginaw, TX) to confront the Rough Riders in a 5A-1 Region I District 3 test on Friday, September 9. The Rough Riders come into the test with a record of 0-2. Saginaw lost 34-23 in their recent non-league test against North Side (Fort Worth, TX)

With the loss, Frisco drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Raccoons host Liberty (Frisco, TX) to confront the Redhawks in a 5A-1 Region II District 6 test on Friday, September 9. The Redhawks come into the test with a record of 0-2. Liberty lost 42-31 in their recent non-league test against Greenville (Greenville, TX)
