In Friday's non-league match, the host Central Wildcats football squad scored a good 37-6 victory over the Tara Trojans.

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the West Feliciana Saints (St. Francisville, LA) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 9. Central will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Saints enter the match with a 2-0 record after their 58-14 non-league win over East Feliciana (Jackson, LA).
