The Cypress Creek Cougars held off the host Tomball Memorial Wildcats football team by a count of 56-54 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Cypress Creek upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Cougars host Cypress Ranch (Houston, TX) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league outing on Friday, September 9. The Mustangs go into the outing with a record of 1-1. Cypress Ranch won 22-7 in their recent non-league match against Paetow (Katy, TX)

The Wildcats (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Eisenhower (Houston, TX). The Eagles enter the non-league match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Eisenhower was nudged by Conroe (Conroe, TX), 56-7, in a non-league match.
