The Helix Highlanders held off the visiting Mountain View Toros football team by a count of 24-21 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Helix upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Highlanders host Cathedral Catholic (San Diego, CA) to confront the Dons in a non-league outing on Friday, September 9. The Dons go into the outing with a record of 1-2. Cathedral Catholic lost 63-7 in their recent non-league outing against Chandler (Chandler, AZ)

With the loss, Mountain View moves to 0-1 on the season. The Toros host Mesa (Mesa, AZ) to confront the Jackrabbits in a non-league outing on Friday, September 9. The Jackrabbits go into the outing with a record of 0-1. Mesa lost 24-10 in their recent non-league outing against Corona del Sol (Tempe, AZ)
