The Vanguard College Prep Vikings football team (Waco, TX), was beaten 58-32 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Holy Trinity Catholic Celtics (Temple, TX)

The Celtics (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Bynum (Bynum, TX). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Bynum was beaten by Avalon (Avalon, TX), 55-6, in a non-league challenge.

The Vikings now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Live Oak Classical for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 9. Vanguard College Prep will meet a Falcons team coming off a 34-30 non-league loss to Coram Deo Academy (Plano, TX). The Falcons record now stands at 0-2.
