In Friday's league match, the host Jay County Patriots football squad scored a big 41-6 victory over the Southern Wells Raiders.

In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Adams Central Flying Jets (Monroe, IN) in a Allen County match, on Friday, September 9. Jay County will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Flying Jets enter the match with a 3-0 record after their 42-19 non-league win over Covenant Christian (Indianapolis, IN).
