The Lincoln Prep Lightning walloped the visiting Valley Union Blue Devils football team by a final score of 46-0 in Friday's non-league game.

The Lightning (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Hayden (Winkelman, AZ). The Lobos come into the 1A East (8 Man) game with a 3-0 record. In their last game, Hayden overwhelmed Mogollon (Heber, AZ), 42-34, in a non-league game.

The Blue Devils now hold a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Baboquivari for a 1A South (8 Man) game on Friday, September 9. Valley Union will battle a Warriors team coming off a 44-8 non-league loss to Desert Heights Prep (Glendale, AZ). The Warriors record now stands at 1-2.
