The Monroe Trojans (Monroe, MI) football edged the host Lincoln Railsplitters (Ypsilanti, MI), 28-21 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Trojans face the Skyline Eagles (Ann Arbor, MI) in a Southeastern - Red bout, on Friday, September 9. Monroe will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 0-2 record after their 59-8 league loss to Dexter (Dexter, MI).
