September 2, 2022: Des Plaines, IL 60018 The Maine West Warriors (Des Plaines, IL) football defeated the visiting Zion-Benton Zee-Bees (Zion, IL), 17-0 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Warriors face the Hoffman Estates Hawks (Hoffman Estates, IL) in a non-league test, on Friday, September 9. Maine West will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Hawks come into the test with a 0-2 record after their 24-14 non-league loss to Elk Grove (Elk Grove Village, IL).
With the loss, Zion-Benton drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Zee-bees travel to North Chicago (North Chicago, IL) to confront the Warhawks in a non-league test on Friday, September 2.
