The Seward Bluejays football team (Seward, NE), was tipped 21-14 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Pius X Thunderbolts (Lincoln, NE)

The Thunderbolts (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Hastings (Hastings, NE). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Hastings was tipped by York (York, NE), 24-0, in a non-league challenge.

The Bluejays now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northwest for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 9. Seward will meet a Vikings team coming off a 21-16 non-league loss to Skutt Catholic (Omaha, NE). The Vikings record now stands at 0-2.
