North Carolina High School Football - R-S Central knocked off by South Point

September 2, 2022: Belmont, NC 28012

South Point Red Raiders (Belmont, NC) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting R-S Central Hilltoppers (Rutherfordton, NC), 42-14 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, South Point improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Red Raiders travel to Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC) to play the Storm in a 3A West Conference 50 battle on Friday, September 16. The Storm go into the battle with a record of 2-1. Stuart W. Cramer won 27-21 in their recent non-league battle against East Gaston (Mt. Holly, NC)

Coming up next, the Hilltoppers play the Chesnee Eagles (Chesnee, SC) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 9. R-S Central will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Eagles go into the battle with a 0-3 record after their 42-30 non-league loss to Walhalla (Walhalla, SC).
