September 2, 2022: Sutherlin, OR 97479 In Friday's league game, the St. Mary's Crusaders (Medford, OR) football team knocked off the host Sutherlin Bulldogs (Sutherlin, OR), by a score of 35-6.
The Crusaders (1-0) will now prepare for their game against North Valley (Grants Pass, OR). The Knights come into the 3A Special District 3 game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, North Valley toppled Lakeview (Lakeview, OR), 16-13, in a league game.
The Bulldogs now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cascade Christian for a 3A Special District 3 game on Friday, September 9. Sutherlin will battle a Challengers team coming off a 53-6 league win over Douglas (Winston, OR). The Challengers record now stands at 1-0.
