The Steel Valley Ironmen (Munhall, PA) football nudged the host Sto-Rox Vikings (McKees Rocks, PA), 27-24 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Ironmen clash with the Seton LaSalle Rebels (Pittsburgh, PA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 9. Steel Valley will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Rebels enter the bout with a 0-2 record after their 56-24 non-league loss to Serra Catholic (McKeesport, PA).

The Vikings (0-1) will now prepare for their bout against Avonworth (Pittsburgh, PA). The Antelopes enter the non-league bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, Avonworth was nudged by Central Valley (Monaca, PA), 37-22, in a league bout.
