In Friday's non-league contest, the Baker Hornets (Mobile, AL) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Central Jaguars (Milton, FL), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Hornets face the Gulfport Admirals (Gulfport, MS) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 2. Baker will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record. The Admirals go into the contest with a 10-8 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Clinton (Clinton, MS).
