In Friday's non-league battle, the visiting Laramie Plainsmen volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Rapid City Central Cobblers.

The Plainsmen (4-4) will now prepare for their battle against Spearfish (Spearfish, SD). The Spartans come into the non-league battle with a 2-7 record. In their last battle, Spearfish lost by Natrona County (Casper, WY), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
