The crowd at Saturday's league contest between the Bishop Guilfoyle Marauders (Altoona, PA) and the visiting Bishop McCort Crushers (Johnstown, PA), observed Bishop Guilfoyle's football squad bounce Bishop McCort by a count of 51-7.

The Marauders now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Bellefonte for a Laurel Highlands contest on Friday, September 8. Bishop Guilfoyle will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 34-6 league loss to Chestnut Ridge (New Paris, PA). The Raiders record now stands at 0-2.

Coming up next, the Crushers encounter the Chestnut Ridge Lions (New Paris, PA) in a Laurel Highlands contest, on Friday, September 8. Bishop McCort will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Lions go into the contest with a 2-0 record after their 34-6 league win over Bellefonte (Bellefonte, PA).
