The Cypress Springs Panthers thwarted the visiting Heights Bulldogs football team by a count of 41-20 in Saturday's non-league outing.

With the win, Cypress Springs upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Panthers host Jersey Village (Houston, TX) to encounter the Falcons in a non-league outing on Friday, September 8. The Falcons go into the outing with a record of 1-1. Jersey Village lost 24-20 in their recent non-league outing against Langham Creek (Houston, TX)

With the loss, Heights moves to 1-1 on the season. The Bulldogs host Kingwood (Kingwood, TX) to encounter the Mustangs in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 9. The Mustangs go into the outing with a record of 0-3. Kingwood lost 55-9 in their recent non-league outing against Jordan (Fulshear, TX)
