In Saturday's league game, the Sacopee Valley Hawks (Cornish, ME) football team knocked off the host Mount View Mustangs (Thorndike, ME), by a final score of 46-26.

The Hawks (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Telstar (Bethel, ME). The Rebels come into the 8-Man Small South (8 Man) game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Telstar was dropped by Dirigo (Dixfield, ME), 54-12, in a league game.
