September 2, 2023: Girard, PA 16417 The Girard Yellowjackets smashed the visiting Eisenhower Knights soccer squad by a margin of 7-1 in Saturday's non-league match.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 2-0 record. They play next when they host General McLane for a District 10 Region 3 match on Tuesday, September 5. Girard will encounter a Lancers squad coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Sharon (Sharon, PA). The Lancers record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Eisenhower drops to 1-1 on the season. The Knights travel to Seneca (Erie, PA) to encounter the Bobcats in a District 10 Region 4 match on Monday, September 11. The Bobcats come into the match with a record of 1-1.
