Oklahoma High School Softball - Stuart holds off Eufaula
September 2, 2023: Eufaula, OK 74432 The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Stuart Hornets (Stuart, OK) and the host Eufaula Ironheads (Eufaula, OK), saw Stuart's softball squad nip Eufaula by a count of 2-0.
The Hornets now sport a 20-6 record. They take the field next when they host Caney for a Class B match on Tuesday, September 5. Stuart will face a Cougars squad coming off a 5-1 non-league win over Colbert (Colbert, OK). The Cougars record now stands at 11-8.
With the loss, Eufaula falls to 13-7 on the campaign. The Ironheads host Okmulgee (Okmulgee, OK) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Tuesday, September 5. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 4-13. Okmulgee won 15-2 in their recent non-league match against Edison (Tulsa, OK)
