Missouri High School Softball - Washington nudges Howell
September 2, 2023: St. Charles, MO 63304 Washington Bluejays (Washington, MO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Howell Vikings (St. Charles, MO), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Bluejays now own a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they host Fort Zumwalt East for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 5. Washington will face a squad coming off a 10-7 league loss to Fort Zumwalt South (St. Peters, MO). The record now stands at 2-2.
With the loss, Howell falls to 5-3 on the campaign. The Vikings host Lafayette (Wildwood, MO) to face the Lancers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 2. The Lancers enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
