Illinois High School Volleyball - Aurora East Deer Creek-Mackinaw
September 2, 2023: Mackinaw, IL 61755 In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Deer Creek-Mackinaw Chiefs volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Aurora East Tomcats.
The Chiefs (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Tremont (Tremont, IL). The Turks come into the Heart of Illinois battle with a 6-2 record. In their last battle, Tremont achieved victory over St. Teresa (Decatur, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Tomcats clash with the Elgin Maroons (Elgin, IL) in a Upstate Eight battle, on Tuesday, September 5. Aurora East will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record. The Maroons come into the battle with a 0-9 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Grayslake North (Grayslake, IL).
