September 2, 2023: Montrose, CA 91020 Avalon Lancers (Avalon, CA) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host St. Monica Academy Crusaders (Montrose, CA), 2-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Lancers battle the Firebaugh Falcons (Lynwood, CA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 2. Avalon will attempt to advance on its 9-7 season record. The Falcons come into the match with a 3-3 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Artesia (Lakewood, CA).
With the loss, St. Monica Academy drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Crusaders host The Palmdale Aerospace Academy (Palmdale, CA) to battle the Griffins in a Heritage match on Tuesday, September 5. The Griffins come into the match with a record of 1-1.
