September 2, 2023: Shreveport, LA 71101 The Barbe Buccaneers topped the host Loyola College Prep Flyers volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Buccaneers now have a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Denham Springs for a non-league test on Saturday, September 2. Barbe will confront a Yellowjackets team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Loyola College Prep (Shreveport, LA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 1-3.
The Flyers (0-7) will now prepare for their test against Madison Prep Academy (Baton Rouge, LA). The enter the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Madison Prep Academy was knocked off by Natchitoches Central (Natchitoches, LA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
