September 2, 2023: Bellevue, IA 52031 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Bellevue Comets (Bellevue, IA) and the visiting Maquoketa Valley Wildcats (Delhi, IA), saw Bellevue's volleyball squad beat Maquoketa Valley by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Bellevue upgrades its record to 7-5 on the year. The Comets travel to Clear Creek-Amana (Tiffin, IA) to play the Clippers in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 2. The Clippers go into the bout with a record of 7-0. Clear Creek-Amana won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against West Liberty (West Liberty, IA)
The Wildcats now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they host MFL MarMac for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 5. Maquoketa Valley will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Turkey Valley (Jackson Junction, IA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-3.
