September 2, 2023: Stanton, IA 51573 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Stanton Vikings (Stanton, IA) and the visiting Glenwood Rams (Glenwood, IA), saw Stanton's volleyball squad nip Glenwood by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, Stanton upgrades its record to 11-3 on the year. The Vikings host Harlan (Harlan, IA) to play the Cyclones in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 2. The Cyclones go into the bout with a record of 3-5. Harlan won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Denison-Schleswig (Denison, IA)
The Rams now own a 11-4 record. They play next when they host Gretna East for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 2. Glenwood will play a Griffins squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Bryan (Omaha, NE). The Griffins record now stands at 7-0.
