With the win, Oak Grove upgrades its record to 1-7 on the year. The Tigers travel to Saint James (Montgomery, AL) to face the Trojans in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 2. The Trojans go into the outing with a record of 4-1. Saint James won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Russell County (Seale, AL)
The Stampede now own a 4-9 record. They play next when they travel to Montevallo for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 2. Paul W. Bryant will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Calera (Calera, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-5.
