With the win, Beechwood improves its record to 3-0 on the season. The Tigers host Holy Cross (Covington, KY) to encounter the Indians in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 11. The Indians go into the battle with a record of 1-0. Holy Cross won 2-1 in their recent non-league battle against Newport Central Catholic (Newport, KY)
The Mustangs now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pendleton County for a non-league contest on Wednesday, September 3.
